Going against an infinitely tall mountain

I tried creating authentic human's on ChatGPT and failed

Going against an infinitely tall mountain

Some days you win, Most days you lose. Today was the most days.

ChatGPT is good at creating production quality ads/images that are non-human such as food, ecom products, icon, clay figures etc.

When creating human beings, there has to be authenticity else the images wont connect with the user. Essentailly, human images have to pass the turing test.

I saw few creators sharing AI-generated human images. I wanted to do the same.

There are 2 parts to create an authentic image:

  • Prompt
  • Model

Prompt:

I had already developed a comprehensive meta-prompt that helps me create production quality images. It didn't work for AI humans.

I tried finetuning the meta-prompt to create AI humans but output wasn't satifactory.

I tried creating a unique meta-prompt and adding reference images for each image generation but nothing helped.

Model:

Since I was unhappy with ChatGPT, I went on testing other models that can be easily accessed without a paid subscription such as Nano Banana, Grok, Hunyuan, Flux and Ideogram.

Flux gave the most promising output. Ideogram gave a comic output. Rest of the models gave a plastic human.

I just Chatgpt's 'Best model to create realistic human images', it recommends Hyperhuman, CosmicMan, Stable Diffusion, Flux and Image Gen.

A quick search on reddit recommends Midjourney, Flux and Stable Diffusion.

ChatGPT is nowhere recommended by any platforms. Essentially, I have wasted time trying to push the limits to get the desired output. I have asked a fish to fly!

My point is I should have been more open in my approach instead of being rigid with a tool.
